Nigerian Artistes, Seyi Vibez, T.I Blaze, and Shallipopi have publicly raised allegations against Music Executive and Owner of Dapper Music, Damilola Akinwunmi, Popularly known as Dapper, over alleged unpaid royalties, and financial accountability during their stay under the record label.
The controversy gained momentum after the three artistes aired separate grievances on social media, generating widespread reactions online.
Seyi Vibez in the controversy, made allegations concerning money he claimed was owed to him and questioning how his earnings were handled during his time associated with Dapper Music, he also insists his earnings were being used to sign other Artistes.
T.I Blaze alleged that his royalties and music licensing had not been properly accounted for. as well, accusing Dapper of giving Artistes contracts he couldn’t abide to.
Meannwhile, Shallipopi accused Dapper Music of withholding money owed to him and alleged that his music catalogue had been sold without proper accounting.
As of the latest reports, Dapper Music had not publicly responded to any of the allegations.
