Veteran Yoruba actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has died at the age of 66.
His daughter, Kira Taiwo, announced his death during an Instagram Live session on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
Ogogo’s death comes days after his family disclosed that the celebrated actor was battling stage-four cancer and appealed for medical assistance.
The veteran actor, who had a career spanning over four decades, was one of the prominent figures in Yoruba cinema, featuring in numerous Nigerian films.
