A 40-foot container truck has crashed into six vehicles at Kara Bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, in the early hours of the day.
The accident occurred after the truck reportedly developed a mechanical fault and lost control while travelling inward the OPIC area.
According to reports, the truck collided with six other vehicles on the bridge. Emergency responders were subsequently deployed to the scene to manage the situation and clear the affected vehicles.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) confirmed that no lives were lost in the incident, there were 3 casualties recorded and adequate medical attention has been provided to them.
The crash caused a significant traffic situation along the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway as efforts are being made to remove the damaged vehicles.
