President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr Tunji Disu as the Acting Inspector-General of Police, following the resignation of the former IGP.
Disu, a seasoned and highly respected officer, is known for his professionalism, intelligence- led policing approach, and strong track record in crime management.
His appointment is expected to strengthen ongoing police reforms, enhance operational efficiency, and boost public confidence in the Nigeria Police Force.
