The Lagos State Security Trust Fund’s Campaign Against Crime, Cultism and Other Vices (LSSTF-CACCOV) will host its July 2026 cybersecurity awareness campaign on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. (WAT). The virtual event, themed “Staying Safe in a Digital World,” aims to educate Lagos residents on staying secure online amid rising cyber threats such as phishing, identity theft, cyberbullying, misinformation, and online fraud.
The webinar will bring together cybersecurity experts, technology professionals, policymakers, young people, and members of the public to promote digital safety and responsible online behaviour. Participants will gain practical knowledge on emerging cyber threats, online safety best practices, cybersecurity tools, and will also have the opportunity to engage in interactive Q&A sessions and networking. Active participants will receive over 1 terabyte of internet data to support continued digital learning.
The event will be hosted by Dr. Moses Oladimeji, State Coordinator of LSSTF-CACCOV, while Oluwabamise Soile, Lead, Security Governance and Risk at Payaza, and Meshole Emmanuel, Head of Programmes and Outreaches at LSSTF-CACCOV, will serve as keynote speakers.
The initiative is championed by the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, and is supported by partners including Executive Hotel & Suites, Aethelgard Global Limited, AccompliTech, and Tormer. Organisers said the campaign forms part of LSSTF-CACCOV’s broader strategy of preventing crime through education, advocacy, and youth engagement while promoting a safer and more digitally responsible society.
