The official photographer to Lagos State Governor, Ademola Olaniran, has unveiled Sanwo-Olu Against All Odds, a visual documentary book chronicling Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s leadership journey, resilience, and key achievements in office.
The book was launched on Monday at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, in the presence of senior government officials, political leaders, diplomats, business executives, media professionals, family members, and friends.
Speaking at the event, Olaniran described the publication as a passion project inspired by years of documenting the Governor’s activities. He explained that the book goes beyond a collection of photographs, presenting a carefully curated visual narrative that captures moments of leadership, compassion, resilience, public service, and transformational governance throughout the Sanwo-Olu administration.
Drawing from his experience as the Governor’s official photographer, Olaniran said the book preserves significant state events, developmental projects, engagements with residents, and other milestones for future generations while offering readers a unique perspective on leadership through photography.
He expressed gratitude to Governor Sanwo-Olu for the trust placed in him over the years and thanked his parents, family, mentors, colleagues, friends, publishers, production team, and guests for their support in bringing the project to life.
The unveiling also featured goodwill messages, a review of the book, musical performances, and its official presentation. Guests praised Olaniran for producing a lasting visual archive that documents the leadership, governance, resilience, and public service legacy of the Sanwo-Olu administration.
