The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, through the Lagos State Examinations Board has successfully concluded the Second Run of the exercise of
the 2026 Computer-Based (CBT) Screening Test.
The seamless Second Run marks the culmination of the 2026 Computer-Based Screening Test exercise, which commenced with the registration of prospective candidates and proceeded through the First Run of the examination.
From the registration stage to the actual conduct of the examination, the exercise was characterised by careful planning, effective coordination, professionalism and a strong commitment to ensuring a smooth and credible process for all candidates.
The Second Run of the 2026 CBT was conducted in a calm, orderly and hitch-free atmosphere, with candidates attending their scheduled sessions and complying with the rules and guidelines established for the exercise.
The final day of the Second Run, which brought the entire 2026 Screening Test to a close, was equally peaceful and well coordinated. Examination officials, technical personnel, security operatives and other stakeholders worked diligently to ensure that candidates were able to undertake their tests under safe conditions.
This demonstrates the effectiveness of the Board’s preparations and its commitment to the delivery of a transparent, efficient and credible screening process.
The Registrar of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu has affirmed that the Board remains committed to strengthening its processes and embracing appropriate technology to improve the efficiency, credibility and overall experience of its examinations.
He emphasized that the adoption of the Computer-Based Screening Test further underscores the Board’s commitment to modernising examination administration and providing a more efficient and structured assessment process.
Orunsolu expressed his sincere appreciation to all stakeholders who played a role in the successful conduct of the 2026 Computer-Based Screening Test.
