The Lagos State High Court has issued an interim order restricting Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin from publishing or distributing photographs and other specified materials concerning Rakeem Mkambala, the son of actress Priscilla Ojo Mkambala and her husband, Juma Mkambala.

The order, dated September 2, 2026, followed an application filed by Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, Juma Mussa Mkambala and their son, Rakeem Mkambala, seeking the court’s intervention over the alleged publication and circulation of materials concerning their child on social media.

The development was made public by Priscilla Ojo, who shared a copy of the court document on her Instagram Story on Friday.

The order listed Elizabeth Aishat Ibukun Anjorin Lawal, popularly known as Lizzy Anjorin, as the respondent in the case.

Under the interim directive, Anjorin is prohibited from posting, uploading, circulating, broadcasting or otherwise sharing pictures of Rakeem on her social media platforms.

The restriction covers platforms including Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok, pending the hearing and determination of the substantive motion before the court.

The court also directed Anjorin, as well as anyone acting on her behalf or under her authority, to refrain from publishing or broadcasting certain editorials and other specified materials concerning the applicants through the social media accounts identified in the order.

The directive is interim and does not constitute a final judgment on the dispute. The substantive issues remain before the Lagos State High Court and are expected to be considered as the case progresses.

The court action comes amid a long-running public dispute involving Lizzy Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ojo’s mother. The disagreement between the actresses has attracted considerable attention on social media and has previously resulted in legal action, including a N1 billion defamation suit filed by Iyabo Ojo against Anjorin.

The latest development follows recent controversy surrounding comments and claims made by Anjorin concerning Priscilla Ojo’s child. Rakeem’s face was publicly unveiled on social media during his first birthday celebration, attracting widespread attention from fans and followers.

With the interim order now in place, Anjorin is required to comply with the restrictions pending further proceedings in the case.

The development adds another legal dimension to the long-running disagreement between the actresses and their respective families, much of which has played out publicly on social media.
