The Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASRERA) has taken its sensitisation campaign to the Lekki and Obalende axis, urging real estate practitioners, developers, organisations and other stakeholders to register and comply with the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority Law, 2022.
Speaking during the engagement at LASRERA’s newly opened premises on Omorinre Johnson Street, Lekki Phase 1, the Coordinating Director of LASRERA, ESV. Mrs. Temitope Akinbola, reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to sanitising the real estate sector through continuous stakeholder engagement and public awareness.
Akinbola said the campaign would help members of the public understand the importance of engaging registered estate agents and complying with LASRERA regulations. She advised the public to avoid unregistered practitioners and verify their registration status before entering into property transactions.
According to her, dealing with registered practitioners helps protect property seekers from fraudulent activities while promoting professionalism, accountability and confidence in the sector.
LASRERA reaffirmed its commitment to protecting stakeholders and building a more efficient, transparent and investor-friendly real estate sector through sustained sensitisation campaigns across Lagos State.
