The Ekiti State Government has provided relief materials valued at more than N136 million to residents impacted by recent rainstorm disasters across the state, reinforcing its commitment to helping affected communities recover.
The support package comprised medical equipment for healthcare facilities, educational materials for schools, and empowerment tools designed to assist small-scale business owners in rebuilding their livelihoods.
Speaking at the distribution event in Ado Ekiti, the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Monisade Afuye, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary in her office, Mr. Adeleke Adefolaju, said the initiative underscores the people-centred approach of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration and its dedication to the welfare of Ekiti residents
