Medical drama The Pitt emerged as the most-nominated programme for the 78th Emmy Awards after earning 25 nominations, according to the shortlist released in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Comedy series Hacks followed closely with 24 nominations, while Widow’s Bay secured 19, Pluribus received 18, and limited series Beef picked up 16 nominations.
The Television Academy announced that final-round voting will begin on August 17, with winners set to be revealed during the 78th Emmy Awards ceremony on September 14, 2026. Actress Mariska Hargitay will host the ceremony.
