The Lagos State Informal Space Management Authority (LASISMA), led by its General Manager, Tpl. Daisi Oso, paid a courtesy visit to Agege Local Government to strengthen collaboration on the effective management of informal spaces. The delegation was received by the Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, Hon. Abdul-Ganiyu Vinod Obasa.
During the visit, the General Manager highlighted LASISMA’s mandate and the importance of collaboration with local governments in promoting orderly and sustainable urban development. In response, the Chairman reaffirmed the council’s commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance the development of the Agege community.
The delegation also inspected the ongoing Agege Recreational Park project along Akilo Road. The park, which will feature landscaped green areas, walkways, and recreational facilities, is designed to create a healthier and more attractive environment for relaxation and community activities. The visit underscored the importance of partnerships between government agencies and local authorities in improving public spaces across Lagos State.
