The Lagos State Government has introduced a new welfare initiative offering police officers three months of unlimited free transportation across the state’s major integrated public transport networks.
The initiative, launched under the Governor Sanwo-Olu Cares Initiative, is aimed at appreciating the sacrifices and contributions of police officers to maintaining law and order across Lagos.
The scheme is expected to provide transportation relief for officers while recognising their role in promoting safety, security and stability in the state.
