The Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (LSCPWB) has strengthened its commitment to improving pilgrim services through its 2026 In-House Training Programme focused on spiritual excellence, ethics, and digital awareness.
Held on July 30, 2026, the training, themed “Attaining Spiritual and Operational Excellence in Pilgrim Services,” equipped staff with the values and digital skills needed to deliver efficient, ethical, and people-centred services. Barrister Mrs. Rita Nwalupue urged participants to embrace integrity, humility, accountability, compassion, and servant leadership, while cyber expert Mr. Adeleye Adeyinka educated staff on emerging cyber threats, responsible digital practices, and protecting official and personal information.
Board Secretary, Dr. Gbolabo Omoniyi Okudero, commended the Lagos State Government and the organisers for the initiative, urging staff to apply the knowledge gained to enhance service delivery. Director of Administration and Human Resources, Mrs. Aina, also encouraged continuous personal and professional development. The Board reaffirmed its commitment to building a skilled, ethical, and service-driven workforce capable of delivering seamless pilgrimage services to Christian pilgrims from Lagos State.
