Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, who seeks a second term in office, has assured civil servants in the state of further benefits as the 2026 Gubernatorial Election fixed for 15th August approaches.
Governor Adeleke gave the assurance in a response to an X user who praised his administration for prompt payment of salaries, describing his administration as one which brought improved welfare for Civil Servants of the state.
The X user, in a post on the platform, had said her mother had been promoted and received her salaries on time under the Adeleke administration. She however, expressed concern about the possibility of the governor losing the forthcoming election, bringing about a change in administration, and what it could mean for her mother and other civil servants.
Responding to the post, Adeleke said the improved condition of civil servants gave him great joy, adding that workers who previously experienced financial difficulties were now more self sufficient.He urged the user to reassure her mother and her colleagues that he had more benefits in store for them, while expressing confidence in his re election.
