Popular Nollywood actor, Lateef Adedimeji, has opened up about the emotional challenges he and his wife, actress Mo Bimpe, faced before welcoming their triplet sons, revealing how they endured public scrutiny, rumours and hurtful comments during their journey to parenthood.
In a reflective message shared on his Instagram page, the actor recalled how the couple became the subject of public discussions and criticism while they waited for children. He said there were moments when the rumours and mockery became difficult to ignore, but they deliberately chose not to respond to the accusations.
According to Adedimeji, the couple decided to remain silent and place their trust in Allah, believing that their story would eventually speak for itself.
He explained that rather than engaging in arguments or trying to prove their critics wrong, they remained patient and focused on their faith. He described the eventual arrival of their three sons as a powerful answer to the prayers and challenges they had experienced.
The actor expressed gratitude for the blessing of becoming a father to triplets, describing his three boys as a testimony of divine timing and answered prayers. He said the experience taught him that people do not always need to respond to every accusation, as time can reveal the truth.
Adedimeji also reflected on the role his wife played throughout their difficult period. He appreciated Mo Bimpe for remaining strong and supportive despite the pressure and public scrutiny surrounding their personal lives.
He described their journey as one that only the two of them could fully understand, noting that they had experienced moments of waiting, uncertainty and emotional pressure before eventually welcoming their children.
Addressing his sons, the actor said they would one day learn about the challenges their parents experienced before their birth. He assured them that they were deeply wanted, prayed for and eagerly awaited.
Adedimeji said the experience had changed his perspective, adding that he no longer seeks revenge or explanations from those who once mocked the couple. Instead, he chose to express gratitude for how their story eventually turned out.
The actor and Mo Bimpe welcomed their triplet boys in May 2026, an announcement that attracted widespread excitement and congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues and well-wishers.
The couple has since shared moments from their journey into parenthood, including preparations for a thanksgiving ceremony celebrating the arrival of their children.
For Adedimeji, the birth of the triplets represents more than just a new chapter in his family life. He described it as a reminder that difficult seasons can eventually give way to joy and that patience and faith can produce unexpected testimonies.
