The Lagos State Government has signed a concession agreement to automate the operations of the Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA) and enhance the operation and maintenance of the MyLagosApp.
The agreement was signed by the Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, alongside the Permanent Secretary of the MVAA, Mr. Rasheed Muri-Okunola, the Special Adviser on Public-Private Partnerships, Mrs. Bukola Odoe, and the concessionaires.
Osiyemi said the initiative will streamline vehicle registration by reducing delays and eliminating cumbersome processes, leading to faster and more efficient service delivery. He added that the upgraded MyLagosApp will continue to provide residents with real-time traffic updates and other essential information across the state, while Odoe urged the concessionaires to fully implement the agreement and deliver quality services for Lagosians.
