The Lagos State Examinations Board has concluded the First and Second Run of the 2026 Computer-Based(CBT) Screening Test for admission of pupils into the State’s Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.
The Screening Test exercise, conducted under the auspices of the Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, was successfully implemented across the designated Computer-Based Test centres, with both the First and Second Run conducted seamlessly and hitch-free.The Second Run marks the culmination of the 2026 Screening Test exercise.
The exercise recorded a smooth process from the registration stage through to the actual conduct of the examination, reflecting the Board’s commitment to ensuring a credible, transparent, efficient and technology-driven admission process for prospective candidates seeking admission into the State’s Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.
The Registrar, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr.Adebayo Orunsolu commended all stakeholders who contributed to the success of the exercise, particularly the Honourable Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr Jamiu Tolani Alli-Balogun and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Mrs. Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite for their invaluable contributions and unflinching support throughout the entire exercise.
While expressing satisfaction with the successful completion of the 2026 exercise, the Registrar noted that the Computer-Based (CBT) Screening Test remains the sole criterion for admission into the Lagos State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.
He assured the public that the Board remains committed to maintaining the integrity of the admission process and ensuring that admission is based strictly on merit and the outcome of the prescribed Screening Test exercise.
