Total Health Trust (THT), a Tangerine company, in partnership with Tangerine Insurance and the Lagos State Accident and Emergency Centre, has announced the 2026 edition of the Tangerine Blood Donor Drive to promote voluntary blood donation and support life-saving healthcare in Nigeria.
The fifth annual campaign, scheduled for June 26 at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Sports Centre, aims to raise awareness about the importance of donating blood and encourage more Nigerians to participate.
Managing Director of THT, Tonye Ukpong, said the initiative is designed to build healthier communities by promoting a culture of voluntary blood donation and shared responsibility for healthcare.
The campaign will feature supervised blood donation stations, free health screenings, wellness activities and public health awareness sessions.
Organisers urged members of the public to support the initiative by donating blood, volunteering or partnering with the campaign to help improve blood availability for emergency and hospital care.
