The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, through the Lagos State Examinations Board (LSEB), has announced the commencement of registration for the Second Run of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) Screening Test into Lagos State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.
The exercise provides another opportunity for eligible candidates who were unable to participate in the recently concluded First Run of the screening test due to circumstances beyond their control.
Registration opens on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, and closes on Saturday, August 15, 2026. The registration fee is ₦10,000 per candidate.
The Registrar of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, said the initiative demonstrates the Board’s commitment to ensuring equal access to educational opportunities for qualified candidates.
According to him, the Second Run is specifically designed for candidates who missed the First Run because of examination schedule clashes with other examination bodies.
Prospective candidates are required to complete their registration online through the Board’s official portal within the registration period. The CBT Screening Test is scheduled to hold on Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC), Magodo, Lagos, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to register their children early and carefully follow all registration guidelines to ensure a seamless application process.
The Board also informed applicants that Vetland Junior Grammar School, Ifako-Ijaiye, and Eva-Adelaja Girls’ Junior Secondary School, Bariga, are not available as school options during registration and should not be selected.
Mr. Orunsolu reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to conducting a transparent, credible, fair, and efficient screening exercise in line with established standards and global best practices.
