The 2026 cohort of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA) Fellows has arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, for its International Policy Trip, a programme designed to broaden participants’ understanding of effective governance, leadership, and sustainable development.
During the visit, the fellows will engage with policymakers, study Rwanda’s governance and development models, and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions with stakeholders across different sectors. The experience is intended to equip them with practical insights and innovative ideas that can be applied to strengthen governance and drive positive change in Lagos State and across Nigeria.
The trip highlights the Lagos State Government’s continued commitment to nurturing future leaders through global exposure, capacity building, and experiential learning.
