Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the appointment of Professor Badejo Ayodeji Olawunmi (née Faji) as the new Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU). Professor Badejo, a Professor of Guidance and Counselling, was born on August 4, 1962. She obtained her Ph.D. in Guidance and Counselling and M.Ed. in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Lagos (UNILAG). She succeeds Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, whose five-year tenure has expired as she proceeds into retirement. The appointment marks a new chapter in the leadership of Lagos State University under the administration of Governor Sanwo-Olu.
